My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Poppy!

I’m an independent lady with plenty of personality. I like things on my terms, but I’ll come running when I hear a can of wet food pop open, rub up against your legs in the bathroom (don’t ask why, it’s just my thing), and then demand exactly three perfect pets before I dart off to do my own thing. I might keep you guessing at first, but once we understand each other, we’ll be besties for life.

I adore people and love being part of the action, though I also enjoy having my own space. I’ll happily hang out next to another cat, but I’m not one for sharing my toys or personal bubble. Speaking of toys, I’m a ping pong ball and crinkly pom-pom enthusiast, and I take my playtime very seriously.

I’m not much of a lap cat, but I love lying next to you on the couch while you relax. I’ll watch what you’re doing, stroll across you a few times for attention, and then fall asleep right by your side.

My ideal home is one that’s active and full of things to explore. I’d do well with older kids or people who are around a lot since I do like attention and can feel a little lonely if I’m left alone for long stretches. I may be a bit shy at first, but once we get to know each other, I’ll be your curious and loyal companion.

If you’re looking for a cat with personality and charm, I think we could be a great match. I also qualify for the welcome trial so you can take me home for up to 14 days to ensure I`m the best fit!

Love,
Poppy
