Spud is an adorable 6 pound 4 month old puppy with a cute and fun personality. He is 1/3: Yorkshire Terrier, Chihuahua, Shih Tzu.
This little guy loves to play with another small and playful dog, he loves toys and bully sticks, riding in the car and walking in the woods. He is about 60% house trained, and on a good schedule we know he will learn quickly. He has not been destructive nor tried to chew anything not intended for him.
Spud is fostered in Cascadia, OR, about an hour from Eugene, Corvallis, Salem and Sisters. About 2 from Portland and Newport. Spud will grace Bend with his presence, for his neuter on October 8, and can meet a potential adopter on October 9, if you have submitted an application that seems a great match.
Like most puppies, Spud is endlessly entertaining, just being his. puppy self. Whether it is exploring with his tiny tail wagging, sleeping, or playing, this guy will provide endless laughs and happiness to his people.
Spud will be: neutered, microchipped, de-wormed with rabies and one vaccination. If adopted before his booster vaccination is due, it will be up to his adopters to complete his series. His adoption fee is $500.
A great home for Spud and his must haves include:
1. An owned or stable renter home with a securely fenced yard.
2. Adopters who are home a lot; a young puppy needs a lot of time with his people.
3. Folks who are rescue dog savvy and ideally have had a puppy before, but if not, you have done the research and are game for puppy life!
4. People who use only positive reinforcement training methods, and zero punishment or harsh words.
5. Dog savvy quieter kids who will not be upset at puppy biting will be happily considered.
5. Adopters who will include Spud as a family member and take him on their fun activities.
