Meet Fred-104! Fred is part of our second "Halo" litter. He is a sweet guy who's met a lot of people, a cat and some dogs, so he's got a great start on socialization! He can be a tad timid- leaning toward a new novel item, then backing up, then going in again for a sniff, for example- but he quickly works through any apprehension because he is ultimately a curious guy! He currently has mostly played with his brother, but we're hoping he can find some new dog friends in a foster home- or foster to adopt situation. He doesn't require a dog in the home, though would benefit from as much new, safe dogs time as possible- not only to broaden his horizons but so he can get some of his energy out. Like any puppy he does want to play- but he's also not overly hyper. Fred is doing well with potty training on a leash, still learning to walk well- and has yet to master recall, but he's a fast learner! He is sleeping through the night, alone but will need continued training with a crate or playpen which we suggest when he is alone and cannot be monitored. He does love to chew things like most puppies- and it's usually his toys, but he's still curious about other things too. Fred is neutered, vaccinated and ready to go to a new home. Email us if you'd like to foster or adopt! Estimated DOB: 07/07/2025 Estimated Adult Weight:1020 lbs Breed: Chihuahua/Mix Adoption Donation:$700 Before adoption, puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, flea-treated, and dewormed. They receive vaccination boosters in our care, but adopters will need to complete the remaining vaccine schedule. Your adoption donation covers vet care, transport, and general costs. All Motley Zoo dogs go home with a leash, Martingale collar, and a "Tour Gear Bag" full of goodies to start your journey together! Please visit our website www.motleyzoorescue.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.
