My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gorda is a four-year-old pit bull mix with a heart as big as her 86-pound body! She came to us at the end of September after a call about a dog hit by a car — but when Animal Control arrived, they found something even more touching. Gorda was lying in the middle of the roadway, blocking traffic and refusing to move, while her devoted mate, Flaco, stood guard by her side. A true testament of loyalty and love.

Now safe with us, Gorda has shown her soft and loving nature. She’s a total cuddle bug who adores affection, naps, and belly rubs. With her soulful eyes and gentle spirit, she’s equal parts meatloaf and marshmallow.

Gorda is ready to find a home where her loyalty will be returned tenfold — a cozy couch, loving family, and all the cuddles she deserves. ❤️
