My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET SHELBY!

*Grab some Fancy Feast pate and melt Shelby`s heart!
*Could live with cats

Shelby was found as a newcomer to a managed cat colony. This beautiful lady`s history is very much unknown to us here at the shelter. Shelby is a gentle soul who seems confused about her change in circumstances. Shelby is a shy cat or what we call a `shadow cat.` She will eat, come out on her own terms but will be rarely seen. She loves her hidey house beds where you can sit and talk with her softly, offer good treats and reach in for pets when she is comfortable and ready. Shelby is on her own terms, but a nice high value snack she is very much a fan of. Shelby would be a great cat for someone who wants to live with an animal, but is ok with a more stoic companion rather than a velcro cat. Shelby is going to do best in a home with a patient adopter, who will give her all the time in the world to settle in, this sweet lady has had a lot of change in a short amount of time. Shelby has been housed with other cats in the shelter, she would be ok living with other cats. Come to stop by Dedham if you would like to learn more about this regal lady.

Shelby is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team.
