My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Ruby’s last puppy was adopted today and Miss Ruby has now officially said goodbye to motherhood and hello to a forever life of being number one!!!! Can we say enough about this girl????? Ruby has never met anything - human or animal - that she doesn’t like. Ruby is the most chill and well adjusted dog we have ever met. She is a cuddler and a lover and will make the most amazing family dog and companion. Ruby does have an old fracture that was never treated and healed creating a malformation in her front leg. We considered amputation as it seemed to be painful, but after consulting with specialists, we decided to treat conservatively with anti-inflammatories and it seems to be working well. She will have to be on medication for the rest of her life, but that will enable her to have the life that she deserves. She is able to go on walks and homes and get around just fine. She should not be a dog that goes on long hikes or a running companion, but most of us aren’t that person either. Do you have room in your heart and home for this amazing girl? She is spayed and microchipped and up to date on vaccines. She is about four years old and weighs under 50 pounds. She is completely house trained and prefers to ride shotgun in the car and sleep under the covers. If that’s your kind of girl, complete an application on LSAR.rescuegroups.org to be considered.

Go meet their pets

Life Savers Animal Rescue has no physical shelter. Animals are housed in foster homes, so in order to meet a dog, an online application must first be completed and processed and approved. Then a meet and greet will be arranged. This process may be delayed should there be many applicants for one dog, so your patience is appreciated.
