My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, we are Eloyse and Tidbit, a bonded pair of sisters who are spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, FeLV and FIV negative, and ready to find our family together!

About Us:
We were found with our brothers and our mom in a nice cat lady’s backyard. Our mom got TNR’d, and we went into foster. We were all very scared of people at first, and we can still get a bit nervous at times, but with patience and consistency you will get to see our sweet, loving sides!

We both really love other cats; we haven’t been around dogs but since we get a bit nervous we think we would do better without dogs. We would need a calm home with older kids only.
We are both currently eating Iams kitten wet and dry food, and we love Churu treats! Feeding us Churus is a great way to bond with us.

About Eloyse:
I’m a heartmelting tuxedo girl with soulful green eyes, and tons of confidence and energy! I LOVE to play and my foster parents sometimes wonder if I ever sleep. I enjoy exploring my environment, and I adore climbing on my foster mom’s many bookshelves to browse, one time I even “selected” a book for her by knocking it off the shelf to let her know it looks like a good one, and sat next to it proudly.
I am a very happy and friendly little girl, and I LOVE pets. I’m not a big fan of being picked up or cuddled, mostly because I don’t want to be deterred from my life mission: PLAY! I love catnip toys, kicker toys, wand toys (especially the Cat Dancer!), ball track toys, and tunnels to run through with my sister. I also really like cat trees, and a nice cozy cat bed for my rare catnaps.

About Tidbit:
I’m a very tiny tabby girl with adorable big eyes! I’m the runt of my litter, but I’m trying hard to catch up!
I love to play with my littermates and I’m really drawn to older cats. I can be very quiet but sometimes I get zoomies and I play like crazy! I’m less confident than my sister (she helps me feel brave!). I get nervous when I get picked up, but once my foster mom puts me on her chest and cuddles me in a blanket, I’m all about it, and I’ll nap for hours like that. I also like watching Gilmore Girls with my foster mom while we cuddle.
As you can see in my pictures, there are some other human activities I find intriguing……. My foster dad is a coin collector and I LOVE to come and hang out with him while he works on his collection. Shiny things!!!!!! Maybe you have a fun hobby that I can help with?
I really like cat trees especially if they have a window view; being high up makes me feel safer. I also like sleeping in my cozy cat bed cuddled next to my sister. Right now my favorite toys are my siblings—I love to wrestle with them and chase each other through cat tunnels—but I also like catnip toys to chase, and the Cat Dancer wand toy is another favorite.

We hope you’ll decide to meet us soon! We can’t wait to find our forever family and we are ready to bring lots of fun, love and entertainment to our new home!

More about this rescue

🐾 Our Mission at Billy the Kidden Rescue 🐾

Billy the Kidden Rescue is a VDACS-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, founded in 2014 and supported by a network of over 60 active foster homes across Hampton Roads.

Our mission is to improve the lives of displaced cats and reduce the feral cat population in our community by socializing outdoor-born and feral kittens—transforming them into loving, adoptable pets and placing them in safe, forever homes.

💙 Our Heart is in TNR
We are proud advocates of TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return)—the humane, effective method of managing community cats. Through this program, feral cats are:

✔️ Trapped
✔️ Neutered or Spayed
✔️ Vaccinated
✔️ Ear-Tipped (as a universal sign they've been fixed)
✔️ Returned to live safely in their outdoor colonies without contributing to overpopulation.

We are actively working to promote legal and social acceptance of TNR in Hampton Roads.

🐱 Feral Kitten Socialization
Our feral kitten socialization program is one of a kind—with a 90% success rate in helping feral-born kittens become affectionate, in-home pets. Through experienced fostering, patience, and love, these kittens learn to trust, play, and thrive indoors.

💪 Get Involved!
We’re always looking for passionate animal lovers to join our team. Help us make a difference by becoming a:
