Jerome is about 25 pound of head and 35 pound of body! His eyes are windows to an old soul. But don't let Jerome's sad look fool you - he has the biggest smile, too!!
Jerome loves every person he meets. He makes friends very quickly with his gentle, trusting self. He LOVES to be pet and will wiggle for you when you try!
Jerome also loves pillows. I mean, who doesn't want a good pillow? But Jermone REALLY loves pillows. He appreciates every one, and will often stack a couple for his naps. As you might expect, he also really loves naps. But if you had to carry around that head all day, you would, too!
Jerome's only special need is that he needs eye drops twice a day for dry eyes. His eye drops are made just for him from a special pharmacy. The vet said he might not always need them, but he also might. However, how can you deny this handsome boy whatever makes him feel good?

We pull unwanted dogs and cats, including pregnant and nursing mothers and their litters, from owners, pounds, animal shelters and other rescue groups and provide them with all needed medical care in loving, family-centered, foster environments before searching for adoptive families and forever homes. Adoption Option also rehabilitates and trains dogs who were abused and neglected. We seek to involve community members in rescue efforts through volunteer opportunities while educating citizens and adopters about how to best care for their pets.
