My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Yes, that's right, her name is really It's OK Silky. She was scared the first time she went to the vet, so they kept telling her "It's OK Silky." Her right eye is a little cloudy, which is why she was scared at the vet. She doesn't behave any differently from other cats because of her eye. She is cautious at first, but very sweet after she gets to know you. You can hold her and she may turn into a lap cat after she adjusts to a new home. She is a gorgeous, long haired black beauty. She was born in July 2024. She has been spayed & is up to date on her vaccinations. All of our cats are fostered in Tennessee but we transport to most states.

More about this rescue

Wild About Cats of Cumberland County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to humanely reducing the outside cat population in Cumberland County through Trap-Neuter-Return. Neutered feral cats are placed at feeding stations that also provide shelter. Young kittens and friendly strays are neutered and provided medical care before being placed for adoption.
