You can't deny that Beauregard, better known as Bobo, is one stone-cold stunner! His backstory is a bit tragic. He was adopted out as a kitten along with his sister to a loving family. However, his dear sister passed away. He grieved tremendously, lashing out at his family due to his unhappiness. Concerned about his wellbeing, he was surrendered to LCCR in the hopes that he could love again.
Bobo has shown some promising signs that he is healing from his loss. While we think he would do best in a home without children or other cats, there was one kitty who has won him over. Paprika, an orange tabby cat, is a shy, gentle soul who is one of the most affectionate kitties in his foster home. Bobo was drawn to him like a magnet, seeing how this scared cat just wanted to be loved. They bonded over the loss of their families, and now they have become best friends! He hopes that his future home will allow Pappy to come with him, but if that's not possible, he will understand. He doesn't mind being an only kitty!
You might think that Bobo is "trouble," but let us iterate; Bobo is not a bad cat. He is a loving and affectionate kitty who can bond deeply with someone who means the world to him. This was clearly the case with his sister. He grieved for her, showing that he is capable of being the most compassionate kitty in the world. Pappy has shown him how to be gentle with others, and he has shown how he can play like a goofball if toys are involved. He's equally playful as he is loving, making him a great contender to be a family pet. Who knows? It may even evolve from "family pet" to best friend and companion for a lifetime! Don't look over this boy and his friend. He IS very loving to the point where he CONNECTS and BONDS with you, not just adore you!
Beauregard’s adoption donation is $115 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter.
