My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Virgil and I am a very smart but kinda shy boy. I usially get along with other dogs (but I will need a slow introduction) but can be a bit of a butt head in public when I see another dog. However I am only 5 months old and am very smart and treat motivated, so I am more than up to getting some good training. I am fully crate trained and doing very well with house training although I'm not all the way there just yet. I am also pretty lazy!

Go meet their pets

We will have Adoption Events posted on our Facebook page and Twitter. Our Twitter account is Emilys Legacy Rescue @EmilysLegRescue. We would like to do meet and greets with people and try to match them with the right home for their individual personalities. We do recommend doing a meet and greet when their is another family dog.

More about this rescue

Emily's Legacy Rescue is named from my Dalmatian Emily who died at 12 years old. She was the most amazing and loving girl. It was because of losing her that we first got into adopting our dogs. We then started fostering and volunteering. Emily's Legacy Rescue is all about helping displaced animals who find themselves in need. We do pull from kill shelters and place them in foster homes. In foster homes, we find that we can work on house training, crate training and any issues they may have to allow them to find the best possible homes.
