Meet Serrano, an 8-month-old, 25 lb. German Shepherd/Black Lab mix with a heart full of love and a playful sparkle in his eyes! This adorable boy was rescued at the very last moment from the Rockdale County Shelter, and he's been spreading joy ever since. Serrano is the perfect mix of sweet and cuddly -- he loves being close to his people and soaking up affection, but he's also full of fun, puppy energy. He enjoys running and playing in the backyard, especially with his doggy friends, and would thrive in a home where he can have a playful canine companion or an active family to keep him company. He's dog-friendly, people-loving, and would likely be great with kids. (He hasn't been tested with cats yet.) Serrano would love a family who enjoys taking him on daily walks and outdoor adventures, where he can explore the world and enjoy time by their side. This smart boy is a quick learner -- he's already crate and potty trained, though like any young pup, he may still have an occasional accident as he continues to learn. Serrano is very bright and eager to please, picking up new things every day! He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, and ready to find his forever family. With his loving heart, playful spirit, and loyal nature, Serrano will make a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a dog to grow, learn, and share adventures with -- and of course, to snuggle with at the end of the day.
