Biscuit is looking for hos futevrr loving home.
This charming blue-eyed rabbit is a fighter and a resilient boy. 🥹
We were contacted by another rescue organization a couple of months ago, requesting assistance with a rabbit found in Miami suffering from a broken leg.
Upon receiving the rabbit's picture, we promptly coordinated with our veterinarian for the rabbit's drop-off by the person who rescued him.
Upon contacting the rescuer, we discovered that the rabbit had been rescued several days before we were contacted for assistance. Consequently, the poor boy suffered for several days. 😔💔
Despite his traumatic experience, Biscuit is a very affectionate rabbit who desires nothing but to provide love through his kisses. 🥹
We arranged a meeting with the person at our vet, who promptly examined him. The X-rays revealed that, given the six-day lapse, the fracture started to heal on its own and a callus started to form. The X-rays also revealed a BB gun pellet. It is unclear whether the shot caused the fracture or the fracture resulted from the rabbit's attempt to flee from the perpetrator. 😔💔
Dr. Romo stated that the best course of action would be to confine Biscuit to a small area, which was done, and Biscuit recovered remarkably well. 🙏
Nobody can even notice that he had a fractured leg in the past.
This cute boy is an exemplary model of resilience, as he did not give up, suffered in silence, and still maintained his sweet personality. 💕
Buscuit is estimated to be a year old, is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and uses the litter box proficiently.
