My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

💖 Temperament

Goldendoodles are well known for being:

Affectionate and friendly — great family and therapy dogs

Intelligent and trainable — they thrive with positive reinforcement and clicker training

Energetic and social — need regular play and human interaction

Good with children and other pets — when properly socialized

They often retain the gentle nature of the Golden Retriever and the clever, lively personality of the Poodle.

🧠 Training and Activity Needs

Goldendoodles are eager learners and benefit from mental stimulation:

Daily walks, fetch, swimming, and puzzle toys

Excellent candidates for agility, obedience, and service work

Sensitive to harsh corrections — respond best to reward-based training

Without sufficient exercise and attention, they can develop boredom-related behaviors (chewing, barking, digging).

🩺 Lifespan

Average lifespan: 10–15 years

Regular grooming, ear cleaning, and are important for keeping them healthy.
