Meet Cami
Cami is a sweet hound mix who’s looking for a forever family to stick to.. literally! This velcro girl loves being by your side and will happily follow you from room to room.

She’s laid back and would be thrilled to snuggle with you on the couch or curl up in bed, though her excitement really shines when you walk through the door. Cami has dabbled in tennis ball play but would much rather be with her people than chasing toys.

Cami is crate trained (she goes in easily, though she may “express” her feelings if she can’t see you), and she’s working on her obedience skills like sit, stay, and leash manners. She can be shy when first meeting new people, but she warms up quickly and becomes affectionate and responsive.

With her hound style personality expressive, loyal, and always nearby, Cami is ready to become someone’s constant companion

All UMDR dogs are up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Adoption fee is $200

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Starts with adoption application through our website, home visits are required. No out of State adoptions.

2.
Approve Application

Vet checks and landlord confirmation is required.

3.
Meet the Pet

Private meet and greets are set up with all dogs and all family members of the applicant. A 2nd with any owned dogs.

4.
Home Check

Virtual Home Visits may be require. They used to be sure the home is safe for the dog.

Additional adoption info

We do offer a "foster to adopt" program which allows the dog to live in your home on a trial basis to be sure we are matching the right dog with the right family. *Applications and Foster to Adopt programs do NOT guarantee or require commitment to adopt a dog.
