Meet Poppy! Poppy is an 8-month-old female domestic shorthair with a gentle and sweet personality. She’s a little shy and takes her time warming up to new people and situations, but with patience, she reveals her affectionate side.
Poppy enjoys the company of other cats and feels most comfortable in calm, cozy environments where she can explore at her own pace. She’s looking for a patient and understanding home that will let her build confidence and trust while enjoying the love and companionship she has to offer.

Our adoption fee is $150.00 for dogs, $75 for kittens under 6 months of age and $50 for all cats 6 months and older. This will include a rabies vaccination (if age appropriate), spay or neuter, a microchip with registration, and all other age appropriate vaccinations.

We are the all admittance shelter in Johnson County, we are not a 501c3, but a county run facility. We try our best to place each and every animal. We also house all animals picked up by Animal Control therefore; we intake a high volume of animals each year.
