My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Selesta and Her Six Small Miracles

Selesta arrived at the shelter with nothing but hope—and a belly full of babies. She was homeless, pregnant, and desperately in need of help. This beautiful Snowshoe Siamese mother-to-be had no idea her life was about to change forever. Just as rescuers from Small Lives Matter Kitten Rescue arrived to take her to safety, Selesta went into labor right there at the shelter. She gave birth to six tiny miracles before being moved to a quiet foster home, where she and her kittens could rest, grow, and thrive in safety and love.

Together, Selesta and her six kittens; girls Sequin, Senova and Sesame and boys Seymour, Seville and Seph are a beautiful symbol of resilience, hope, and love. Each one has a distinct personality and charm, but all share the same gentle, trusting nature that makes this family so special. Whether you are drawn to Selesta’s calm grace or her kittens’ joyful energy, they are all ready to bring warmth, laughter, and love into their forever homes.

Seymour
Seymour is a male tan tabby with warm honey-colored fur and subtle stripes that glow in the light. He is independent, curious, and full of playful determination. Seymour is always the first to climb, jump, and explore, leading his siblings on adventures with fearless enthusiasm. Beneath his confident exterior, though, is a loving and loyal kitten who craves gentle pets and companionship. Seymour’s adventurous nature and affectionate heart make him the perfect mix of fun and devotion.

Go meet their pets

We are a foster based rescue. Our kitties are raised in loving foster homes, so they are socialized, love people and have good potty habits. Some are already adjusted to busy households with dogs, other adult cats and children. Please send us an inquiry and we will schedule a meet and greet.

More about this rescue

Small Lives Matter Kitten Rescue

We are a foster based rescue providing home care havens for kittens in need.

We are a 501(c)3 charitable organization supported by a network of volunteer fosters. We provide urgent care to neonate and sick kittens in need of life saving support.
We provide a haven to kittens until they are thriving and ready for spay and neuter surgery and then adoption.

Kittens under eight weeks old are one of the most at-risk populations in the United States, being killed or allowed to die by the hundreds of thousands every year. Our vision is that all neonatal, sick and other at-risk kittens are given a chance to grow and thrive through life-saving fosters and then adoption. Join us in the fight to stop euthanasia of orphaned kittens and share our dream that one day animals will no longer be killed in America's shelters. We believe every life is important, no matter how small.

We need everyone's help with our mission. There are many ways you can help. Please donate, volunteer to foster or adopt today!!
