- Playful boy who enjoys playing with playing with small cloth balls, mouse toys and wand toys
- Tosses his toys into the air and chases him
- Likes lounging near his people and doesn't mind pets and attention
- Has done well with other cats here at the shelter
This cat has tested positive for feline immunodeficiency virus. FIV attacks the immune system leaving a cat vulnerable to recurrent infections. There currently is no cure for FIV, but infected cats can live fairly normal lives for years. FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds. Casual contact such as sharing food/water bowls, mutual grooming, etc. is unlikely to spread FIV. However, we recommend that this cat be an only cat or live with other FIV+ cats. More info is on this cat's kennel, but if you have questions, please consult your regular veterinarian before adoption.
All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age)
