My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maple Creemee (also known as Frank) is a reformed street boy who is enjoying his transition to pampered house cat. He loves to play with his favorite toy mouse as much as he loves to sleep in a sunny spot on the couch. He is learning quickly that laps are also a great place to nap. Maple prefers to be in the same room as the people at all times but not necessarily in contact with you. He is the first one in bed every night and the last one out in the morning. He loves to play with string toys or anything that he can chase (especially other unsuspecting cats). He can be a bit timid around new people at first, but once he opens up, he is very sweet and can be affectionate.

Maple would do best in an experienced cat home without small children. He is a lover, but the street habits die hard and he sometimes forgets that hands aren’t chew toys. Maple lives in a house with a grumpy older cat and would do well by himself or with another playful cat who doesn’t mind rough-housing. He has not met a dog, but with proper introduction, would probably do fine with one.

Maple Creemee is around 3 years old and is neutered, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained. He is Affectionate, Athletic, Curious, Friendly, and Playful.

Project MEOW Adoption Fees – Effective March 15, 2023

Cats/kittens under 1 years old: $125 + 8% sales tax = $135

Senior cats ages 10+ years old: $75 + 8% sales tax = $81
Adopt 2 cats and save $25 off the total adoption fee

* You must be 18 or older to adopt. If you’re under 18, you must have a parent or guardian submit an application on your behalf.
* All cats must be kept indoors. In special circumstances, we may waive this requirement on a case-by-case basis.
* We do not adopt to any home that will declaw an animal. Declawing is cruel and unnecessary.
* All cats/kittens must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
* Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or into a home with another active cat or cat-friendly dog.
* Your adoption fee helps to cover a small part of the costs of veterinary care. However, we strongly recommend that you take your new kitty to your vet for a check-up shortly after adopting to establish a relationship and a lifetime of regular check-ups and care.
