My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We believe Wilbur is an older bunny. He spent his whole life in a small pet store cage with no toys, no hay, and no exercise. By the time he finally got to rescue, his teeth were severely overgrown and he had to have them removed. He also did not have a lot of muscle strength since he never got exercise. And he had some mild arthritis.

Look at Wilbur now! This handsome boy is with one of our medical fosters and is a different bunny. He is on daily metacam for arthritis, has plenty of toys and hay and has built those muscles back. Wilbur is very social. He is curious and loves to run around and play. He is able to eat normal bunny foods despite his front teeth being removed. Wilbur does need occasional cleaning and sanitary trims for “poopy butt” most likely due to his arthritis. His foster lives overseas for part of the year which makes it impossible for her to adopt him. If you can open your home and heart to Wilbur so he can finally have a real permanent home, please fill out our application by clicking Apply Now at https://www.hoppyheartssc.org/adopt
