My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

‘ARCADE’ THEMED KITTEN:  Approx. 5 months old / Approx. 5.5 lbs. & growing

Hi, my name’s Q*Bert!  I came to Mostly Mutts several months ago with some kitty friends.  I was adopted a couple of months ago, but – sadly, my owner found out they are allergic to cat dander, so I am back with Mostly Mutts and ready to find a new family to love.  I’m back in my great foster home, and I look forward to meeting my new family soon!

• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS:  Before I was adopted, I got along very well with my fellow kitten fosters, as well as the cats that live in my foster home!  I may enjoy another kitty in my home, so if you have a nice kitty at home already, let’s meet! / I’ve opened up to the dog that lives in my foster home.  It likely will depend on the dog, but if you have a kitty-friendly doggie at home, we will likely do well together. / My previous owner said I liked the kids I met while with them. Children in my new home may be nice, since I am a playful kitten, but best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitten, and – of course, let’s meet!

• PERSONALITY INFORMATION:  I’m a sweet, lovable little kitty with a heart full of curiosity and paws that never stop exploring. Everything is a new adventure to me - whether it’s chasing shadows, climbing furniture, or pouncing on toys. I’ve got that classic kitten energy: playful, bouncy, and always ready to turn an ordinary day into something fun. But when the zoomies are over, I’ll curl up in your lap and purr myself to sleep, because I’m just as affectionate as I am adventurous. I can’t wait to find a forever family to love, snuggle, and grow up with — could that be you?

• SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS:  I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained.

• LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love playing – chasing toys and climbing on the cat tree.  All kitty toys are great, and it is hard to pick a favorite – if I can chase it, it is my favorite! I am also happy to collect all the love and affection that comes my way. / I can’t think of any dislikes since I am a kitten, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve!

• MEDICAL:  I’m up-to-date on my kitten shots, microchipped and neutered.

I am looking for a great home where I will be a much-loved family member!  My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process

Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:

Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!

Adoption Info:
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.

Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.

Thank you for your patience and support!

Who We Are:

Mostly Mutts is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization, staffed almost entirely by volunteers!

Our Mission is to help the Unwanted, Abandoned, Abused and Sick animals in our local counties. We fulfill this mission by working closely with County Animal Control Facilities, saving those who are in imminent danger of euthanasia, or those with needs which require specialized vet care that many other groups will not consider: major orthopedic issues, heartworm positive treatment, skin conditions, neglect and abuse
