Meet Norton the sweetest 3 year old Black Hippo Terrier mix ever. That’s totally a breed right?? We have always joked that he looked like a hippo and moves slow like one. He’s super low key, loves his naps, and sleeping when he rides. He is great with other dogs and loves kids if you can’t tell with his foster family. He’s been on the farm with his foster family and has incredible recall and is great on his leash. Not much bothers Norton which is really nice. He just loves his people, giving them love, receiving love, treats and of course, and a good nap! He would make the perfect dog for a person or family who likes to take their dog with them or he would be fine with a dog sitter too! He’s just a really loving and special boy! Just someone wanting a very chill dog!
Norton is neutered, fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped.

Since then it has grown to include many amazing volunteers, fosteres and a rescue center who work very hard to find amazing foreveer homes. We are based in East Hartford Ct. Most of our animals come from Arkansas and TN. We transport weekly from North Little Rock, AR to the North East with many stops along the way. We use our our transport www.plrdogtransport.com.
All dogs and cats are given age approproate vaccinations before they leave. Every pet is seen by our vet prior to transport and receive a health certificate
