My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Finn – The Bright and Playful Pup!

  • Breed: Weimaraner / Terrier Mix

  • DOB: May 23, 2025

  • Weight: 30 pounds

  • Health: Healthy, vaccinated, and neutered

✨ Personality:
Finn is a happy-go-lucky boy with a tail that never stops wagging! He’s curious, outgoing, and loves exploring everything new. Whether he’s trotting beside you on a walk or playing with toys in the yard, Finn’s zest for life is contagious. He’s smart and eager to learn, making him a wonderful student for continued training.

Breed Info:
A Weimaraner–Terrier mix blends the intelligence and loyalty of the Weimaraner with the energy and tenacity of a Terrier. Adults usually weigh 35–50 pounds and thrive with daily activity, consistency, and family interaction. They’re affectionate companions who form strong bonds with their people.

‍‍ Owner Responsibilities:

  • Provide structure, daily walks, and playtime

  • Continue socialization and obedience training

  • Offer plenty of love, patience, and positive guidance

  • Keep up with routine vet care and grooming

⚠️ Things to Consider:

  • Puppies need time and training—expect energy, chewing, and curiosity

  • Landlord or HOA approval is essential before adopting

  • Ensure you have time each day for exercise and engagement

  • Financially prepare for food, vet bills, and supplies

⏳ 3-3-3 Rule:
Finn may need 3 days to relax, 3 weeks to learn your routine, and 3 months to feel completely at home. Patience and routine will help him blossom.

Vet Care:
Even though Finn is healthy and vaccinated, please visit your own veterinarian soon after adoption to establish care.

Why Finn Would Be a Great Addition:
Finn’s playful, affectionate nature makes him the perfect family companion. He’ll bring laughter, energy, and love to any home lucky enough to call him theirs. With your guidance, he’ll grow into a loyal best friend for life.

More about this rescue

We are dedicated to saving dogs from high kill shelters, strays, owner surrenders and hoarders. We have been saving animals since December 2016. We hold weekly adoption events at various pet stores and pet expos. We hire dog walkers to walk our dogs and we have volunteers who help us weekly. Many of our dogs go to boarding and training to become adoptable and work on their behavioral issues. All our dogs are assessed to find a great family match.

All dogs receive all necessary medical attention and all dogs are vetted.
