Join the distinguished gentlemen’s club with Charlie!
After being surrendered to EHS due to his owner moving abroad, this beautiful boy is eager to settle into the next chapter of his story.
ABOUT CHARLIE - Charlie is a friendly and sweet white-and-black Savannah cat. - He is very affectionate, and he isn’t shy about asking for cuddles or cheek scratches with his loud voice! - He is making great progress in his foster home despite the challenges of adjusting to so many sudden changes. He loves to sit on his foster mom`s legs every chance he gets! - Charlie is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
CHARLIE’S IDEAL HOME - Charlie is having some congestion issues and is working with an internal medicine specialist to figure out a treatment plan. - Due to his congestion issues, EHS will offer a short foster-to-adopt period before finalizing the adoption to assist Charlie with successfully transitioning into a forever home. During this time, our skilled volunteers will offer support to the potential adopters as they get to know Charlie and help ensure everyone settles in comfortably together. -Charlie will do best as a solo cat in a home without small children and with lots of durable toys (he loves to play!). He will appreciate all kinds of creature comforts while he continues to adjust to his new fur-ever. - His former family reported that Charlie tends to react to the extended absence of his humans in the form of litter box mishaps; he would like a family who doesn`t travel much and will be able to keep disruptions in his routine to a minimum. - Charlie needs a patient and compassionate owner who is committed to helping him adapt comfortably.
