Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet our handsome long-haired boy, Buttered Noodles! Butter is a sweet but shy guy that wants to go to his forever home so he can come out of his shell and let someone know just how sweet he is. He arrived to us back in July from a large hoarding case of over 77 cats being housed in complete squalor and filth. Since being rescued from this really horrible situation, Butter has been neutered, FELV/FIV tested negative, vaccinated and microchipped. He is coming around to people and gets along great with other cats. He uses the litterbox here at the shelter. Buttered Noodles is now FREE to a great home who will give him a chance at a fresh start. Please stop by the shelter to meet him today.

Kendall County Animal Control is the county agency responsible for enforcement of the state statutes governing rabies control in domestic companion animals. The State of Illinois requires that all dogs are vaccinated against rabies by a licensed veterinarian. Compliance with this law is monitored through the issuance of rabies tags for all dogs residing in the county. All dogs are required to wear their rabies tags when off of the owner's property. If a pet is lost, rabies tags also provide an excellent means of identifying your pet.
Kendall County Animal Control also enforces the county's ordinance that prohibits dogs from running at large in unincorporated residential subdivisions, investigates reports of animal bites, and will pick up contained stray dogs in unincorporated Kendall County during operating hours. Stray and owner released cats and dogs may also be brought to the facility during business hours. Cats and dogs are available for adoption at the facility.
