My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Owl! -- -- Here is some information about me: -- -- I like to take treats from your hand. -- I prefer to free roam. -- I think other bunnies are interesting. -- I'm a great bunny for calm households. -- I'm a great bunny for first time bunny owners. -- -- I don't like: -- to be picked up, -- -- I am: -- a cuddle-bun, calm, curious, easy-going, friendly, litter box trained, sweet, -- -- I like: -- kids, napping, to binky, to cuddle, to explore, to play, to run, -- Rescued before they were even born, Mama (Lizzo) & who we are very certain is Dad (Bigby) were saved as strays in Paw Paw. Lizzo gave birth to a litter of 14 (plus one stillborn), and thanks to the loving dedication of a foster mom who specializes in baby bunnies, all 14 survived and thrived. From bottle feeds to baby snuggles, these babies have grown up knowing kindness and are now ready for homes of their own! -- -- -- -- 🐰 Meet Owl, a charming red-eyed white rabbit! This fluffy boy is a bundle of joy to have around the house. He absolutely adores gentle pets and will sniff your hand, maybe a gentle nudge, to let you know he would like more pets. His days revolve around food and hay, which he enthusiastically munches on. -- -- -- -- While Owl is affectionate and curious, he has one firm boundary: being picked up. He much prefers to keep his paws firmly on the ground (as with most rabbits) and will squirm and kick if you do try to pick him up. He will jump into your lap if you are sitting/laying on the floor with him. Once he is on your lap, you may be able to maneuver him into your arms safely where he will for sure potato for a small snooze. -- -- -- -- Despite his aversion to being held, Owl's loving personality shines through in every interaction. He's the perfect companion for anyone who appreciates a cuddly friend with a bit of independence. -- -- Apply for Owl at https://rabbitangelsrabbitrescue.com/forms/adoption_app.php?bunname=Owl Our adoption fee is $120 for a single and $180 for a bonded pair. All adoptions are subject to approval and acceptance of terms. Not all persons will be approved. Upon approval a 50% non-refundable deposit is required for adoption commitments before a rabbit will be held. You will need to have the housing area all set up and ready for the rabbit to move in.
