My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Buckley, Brisa, Bijou, and Badger — the adorable “B Team” ready to brighten your home! These four kittens started life outdoors but have quickly discovered the joys of cozy naps, feather toys, and gentle cuddles.

Buckley, the handsome all-black boy, is the little explorer of the group, curious about everything and always the first to peek around a corner. His sisters — Brisa, Bijou, and Badger — are beautiful torties with big personalities and even bigger hearts. They may be a bit shy at first, but once they trust you, they’ll happily show off their playful and affectionate sides.

Each kitten has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and is current on vaccines and flea prevention. Their adoption fee is $50 each, and all New Leash cats are to be strictly indoor and not declawed.

If you’re looking for a sweet and slightly bashful bunch who will blossom into loyal companions, Buckley, Brisa, Bijou, and Badger are ready to meet you!

More about this rescue

New Leash on Life is dedicated to improving the welfare of companion animals in our community through shelter, placement, spay/neuter, education and awareness.

Our goals include the following:

To educate the public about the importance of having their pets spayed or neutered, and to provide low or no cost surgeries for those in need.

To shelter and provide care for stray, abused, or relinquished animals.

To educate the general population about the seriousness of pet overpopulation.

To end euthanasia as a means of controlling pet overpopulation.

To find good homes for the animals in our care.

Our hope for the future is that there will be no unwanted, unloved or abandoned companion animal. We will continue with our aggressive spay/neuter campaign and our owner education programs in the hopes that any pet ever adopted will find a permanent, loving home. We believe that with the involvement of our community we will make a significant impact on the welfare of companion animals, but we need your help and understanding. Together, will make the difference.
