🌸 Meet Sunjung — A Gentle, Resilient Soul Rescued From Abuse

Rescued from abuse, Sunjung is a gentle, resilient girl who has overcome unthinkable hardship in Korea. She was found tied up, living outdoors, with her leg also cruelly bound so tightly, knotted over and over again, that it became necrotic. Surgery was necessary to remove her necrotic leg, giving her a second chance at life. Despite everything she endured, her sweet, loving spirit shines. She moves happily and confidently without issue. Sunjung is calm, affectionate, and has been lovingly cared for by her foster and is ready to travel to the Seattle area for her forever home!

Potty trained? 100% outdoor potty trained. Needs 3-4 walks per day.
Leash manners: Doesn't pull, checks back often to make sure you’re with her.
Barking: Has never been heard barking
Separation anxiety: None. Calm when left alone.

Health Notes
Missing one hind leg due to abuse, but she moves confidently and happily without problem.
Dental tartar will be treated with dental scaling before adoption.

Loves sniffing grass and will gently signal where she wants to go by stopping.
Enjoys brushing, and grooming — calm, cooperative, and even happy to lie down for long brushing sessions.
Because of her missing hind leg and fluffy, heavy tail fur, she is most comfortable being bathed while held in a seated position.
No interest in toys, but adores gentle petting (she’ll even paw at you for more!).
Sleeps in her own bed in the bedroom of her foster.
