My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a Golden Bachelor? Say Hello to Sir Casper!

Sir Casper is a little gentleman whose calm, loving presence melts your heart. He came to APA from South Texas when his previous shelter ran out of space, and now he’s thriving in a foster home while patiently waiting for his forever family.

Though mostly blind in both eyes, Sir Casper navigates his world confidently, using his other senses — and maybe a little shadow-seeing magic — to explore new places with ease. His tail is almost always wagging, whether he’s resting on his bed, going for a walk, or enjoying a car ride to somewhere new. Everyone who meets him can’t help but comment on how sweet and easygoing he is.

Sir Casper loves his independence, happily roaming safely in his outdoor space or enjoying a peaceful afternoon resting. He only barks when he wants to go outside, and he’s perfectly content in a calm, quiet home. He’s affectionate without being demanding, and his gentle nature makes him the perfect companion for someone seeking a senior dog who is loving, calm, and incredibly easygoing.

If you believe senior dogs deserve dignity, comfort, and love, Sir Casper is ready to share his golden years with a forever family who will cherish him.
