Oatmeal’s first owner bought him for $10,000 from an unethical breeder who bred Frenchies with recessive traits, resulting in distinctive fluffy fur and many health problems. When we rescued him from his second owner who sought to surrender him due to their other dogs’ aggression, he had separation anxiety and struggled to breathe during simple activity. Since, we have paid for surgery to open his airways and he has been thriving!
Oatmeal is a sweet, spunky, silly little 3-year-old who loves affection. He is a treat-motivated, people-oriented, low-to-medium energy dog (perfect for families) who loves to play but is more than happy to spend the day sleeping. His favorite thing is to gently hold his toys in his mouth while he trots about looking for pets. He is house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and knows simple commands. Like all Frenchies, he can be stubborn! But he has all the love in the world to give his future owners.
