HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org
Lena and Little Bit are Bonded Buddies. They'll be adopted as a pair.
- Playful and always entertaining; has cataracts in both eyes, but gets around just fine - she just sometimes loses sight of her toys for a minute
- Loves to curl up with her buddy for naps
- Has done very well with the other cats she's been living with here in the shelter
- Loves to play on the cat wheel!
- Currently has some visual ability, but that will likely diminish as her cataracts continue to develop, so she's looking for adopters who will work with her as her condition progresses (more info at ARL)
All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age)
