How has Brie been waiting 4 months for a forever home? This happy girl is always the life of the party, and lives like she has never had a bad day. She`s bright, energetic, and oh so smart. Brie never lets the stress of the shelter get her down! She loves to play with other dogs no matter their energy level. Brie has some pent up energy from being in the shelter and could use a few runs to help her decompress. Instead of a tail wag, she greats people with a big whole body wiggle! Brie would love to be a running or hiking buddy in her new home.

More about this shelter
The Tehama County Animal Care Center provides animal sheltering services for all of Tehama and Glenn Counties. We house and care for stray dogs, surrendered cats, and various other species. Adopt a new pet here!
The Tehama County Animal Care Center is owned by Tehama County and operated by the Department of Agriculture, Division of Animal Services.
Our mission is to practice and promote compassionate care of all animals, both in our care and in the community we serve.
We strive to reunite lost animals with their owners and find forever homes for animals whose owners cannot be located. We work closely with several rescues to transfer some of our animals to other locations so they can find homes in other areas. We are extremely proud of our high rate live release rate and incredibly grateful to the organizations and volunteers who make it possible!
