Binx is a beautiful 4-month-old black kitty who needs a very special kind of home, one filled with patience and understanding. Right now, she is very scared and unsure of the world, but beneath that timid exterior lies the heart of a kitten waiting to blossom. She may not open up quickly, but for the person willing to give her time and gentle reassurance, the reward of earning her trust will be immeasurable. Binx deserves a loving family who will see past her fears and help her grow into the affectionate companion she is meant to be.

Famous Fido was founded by Gloria Lissner who has been independently rescuing dogs from the death rows of kill shelters since 1975. She officially opened Famous Fido Rescue & Adoption Alliance in July 2010. All our dogs recieve the necessary vet care and treatment is never refused. Famous Fido has developed a full merchandise line, starting with our all natural dog treats to support our rescue efforts. Our products are available for purchase on our website. The mission of FFRAA is to form an alliance with similar organizations to increase community awareness, public consciences and create a No Kill Nation.
