Pepper and Sugar are gorgeous domestic shorthair tabby girls born 6/20/2025. Pepper is a playful, curious, and mischievous cat who craves adventure. She loves cardboard boxes and wrestling with her sister. Once she has worn herself out with playing, Pepper is the perfect cuddler. She will always let you know when she wants your attention! Sugar is the shyer of the pair, but she will warm up nicely once you have gained her trust. She is a sweet, sensitive little soul who loves to snuggle up next to you. If you are looking for a quiet cuddle, Sugar is your girl! She would do best in a peaceful home with a gentle guardian.
All kittens must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another young cat with which he or she can play and socialize. The majority of no-kill rescues nationwide adhere to this policy. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions, rather it ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.

Once you have chosen a pet from online or visited at one of our adoption centers, you may decide to submit an application.

Interview
Your application will be acknowledged and a request made for a convenient time to set up a phone interview.

Home Check
We do not visit your home, but we do check vet and personal references.
4.
Approve Application
Once approved, you will meet with our adoption manager, sign your contract, pay your $175 donation fee, and pick up your new baby!

Adoption application is required. If approved for an adoption there is an adoption contract and a $175.00/$400.00 adoption fee. The $175.00 adoption fee for cats includes the spay/neuter, AKC micro-chipping, FIV/FeLV testing (Feline) or Heartworm testing (Canine), deworming, de-fleaing and vaccines.
