My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gracie is a beautiful combination of Chihuahua and Poodle.  She's about 10 years old, and bonded with her brother, George....a gorgeous 7 year old red long hair purebred Dachshund.

She's a very sweet and loving girl who still loves to play like a puppy, but definitely doesn't have excessive energy either.  Very content to just lay around and be snuggled and pet all day.

I can be a barker, but I'm just trying to protect my humans.  I am a bit timid and defensive around new people at first, especially men, but she warms up quickly when someone is patient, gets down on my level and gives me pets.  Never bitten or been aggressive, even if she growls a little.

A HOME WITH A YARD IS THE BEST FIT.  NO OTHER PETS IN THE HOME, AND NO CHILDREN.

If you are interested in adopting Gracie and George, please complete an adoption application on our website to be pre-approved:  www.dachshundrescueoflosangeles.com
