My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

💛 About Me:
I may be a little shy at first, but once I warm up, you’ll see my gentle, loving side. I’ve had a rough start, but I’m ready to find a home where I can feel safe and loved. I do best with calm voices and a little patience — and in return, I’ll give you my whole heart.

🐕 I’m great at sitting quietly and watching the world around me. I’d love a family who can help me build confidence and show me what it means to be part of a home.

Additional adoption info

Animals have to be spayed or neutered prior to leaving the shelter. This is covered completely by the adoption fee if the adopter uses one of our local approved vets. If the adopter wants to have the spay/neuter done by a different vet, AWOL will pay a portion of the cost. All animals leaving prior to being spayed/neutered require a deposit that will be returned to the adopter after proof of spay/neuter.

More about this shelter

AWOL is a volunteer organization dedicated to providing ethical and humane treatment to lost, stray, or abandoned animals, educating the public on animal welfare, and offering affordable spays and neuters.
