My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A FUN AND FRIENDLY GIRL:  Approx. 1 year old / Approx. 7 lbs.

Hello – I’m Curly!  My siblings and I were at animal control when Mostly Mutts came for us.  We were all adopted and I was excited to start life in my new home.  Sadly, my previous owner discovered she was allergic to cat dander, so I have made my way back to Mostly Mutts.  They got me right into a wonderful foster home, where I am getting lots of love and attention while I wait for my new family to find me.  Plan to meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member!

• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS:  I got along very well with my siblings before our adoptions!  I may enjoy another kitty in my home, so if you have a nice kitty at home already, we would likely do well together. / Dogs unknown / My former owner said I enjoyed being around kids, so children in my new home may be nice, since I am a playful kitty.  Best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitty, and – of course, let’s meet!

• PERSONALITY INFORMATION:  I am a fun kitty with a big personality and even bigger energy.  I love to scamper around the playroom in my foster home, chasing toys, climbing everything I can, and zooming around like it’s my own little racetrack.  Everything is exciting to me — feathers, jingles, even the tiniest bit of string!  I play with all the joy in the world, but once I’ve worn myself out, there’s nothing better than curling up in my foster’s lap for a cozy cat nap.  I purr myself to sleep, dreaming of my next adventure.

• SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS:  I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained.

• LIKES/DISLIKES:  My favorite toy is the wand with curly ribbons – I go crazy over it.  Maybe it is my namesake – lol.  I’m also grateful for cuddle time in my foster’s lap. / I can’t think of any dislikes since I am a kitten, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve!

• MEDICAL:  I am up-to-date on my kitty shots, microchipped and spayed.

I am looking for a great home with a wonderful, loving family!  My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process

Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:

Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!

Adoption Info:
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.

Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.

Thank you for your patience and support!

Who We Are:

Mostly Mutts is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization, staffed almost entirely by volunteers!

Our Mission is to help the Unwanted, Abandoned, Abused and Sick animals in our local counties. We fulfill this mission by working closely with County Animal Control Facilities, saving those who are in imminent danger of euthanasia, or those with needs which require specialized vet care that many other groups will not consider: major orthopedic issues, heartworm positive treatment, skin conditions, neglect and abuse
