Ellie is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian. Ellie is an inside dog that sleeps on the couch with a blanket, but she loves to be outside and roam. She likes to run off and I do not have a fenced in yard. She does come back eventually, but I cannot worry about her for hours on end. She is good with cats closely. She does she great with other dogs. I have not seen her, but she has a sweetheart and she is easily intimidated. She is scared of loud noises. She is truly a big baby that just needs a lot of love. Ellie needs to go to a loving home with a fenced in yard. No exceptions. She has to have a fenced in yard. Please come in and visit with our pets available for adoption. Once you find an animal you would like to adopt, you will be asked to fill out an adoption survey and meet with an adoption counselor. We do require landlord approval and we do not adopt out animals to live completely outside. Our adoption fees are $75 for dogs and cats under 5 years old and $55 for those 5 years and older.
