The HSOV ‘Pirates of the Caribbean” (Morgan, Sparrow, and Hook) were brought to HSOV on September 18th by the Washington County Dog Warden and have been kept safe for the mandatory 14-day hold since their owner had been identified. They have now been surrendered and will soon be ready to find new homes of their very own.
Each of these beautiful dogs are friendly and love attention.
Morgan is a beautiful 4-year old female Hound mix. She has a white coat, a long tail, and an adorable face with dark brown eyes, a large brown pirate's patch around her right eye, and large floppy ears which frame her face. Morgan's left ear is white with brown spots while her right ear is brown. She weighs 54 lbs.
Sparrow is a one-year old female Puggle (Pug/Beagle mix). She has a tan coat, a long tail, and an adorable wrinkled face with brown eyes which appear to be enhanced with black eyeliner, a dusting of white on her muzzle, and extra-large floppy ears. Sparrow weighs 29 lbs.
Hook is a cute 3-year old male Terrier mix. He has a tan coat, short legs, a rather long body, a long tail, and the sweetest face with dark brown eyes, a tiny muzzle, and 'horizontal ears'. Hook's claim to fame is his unique 'smile' since he shows all of his pearly whites (smile). Hook weighs 18 lbs.
Morgan, Sparrow and Hook will be spayed/neutered before being officially adopted. They could be fostered-to-adopt while they await those procedures with an approved HSOV foster/adoption application.
We look forward to posting updated more flattering photos of these awesome little 'pirates' asap.
Incidentally, these pirates are quite social and only steal people's hearts .. not their worldly possessions.
Update: Morgan and Sparrow were spayed and Hook was neutered on October 27, 2025. They were also given rabies vaccine.
Hook was adopted on November 5, 2025.
Note: Morgan and Sparrow are being listed as a bonded pair since we feel that it is in their best interest to be adopted together.
