My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rosie is a sweet as can be Cocker Spaniel / Cavalier King Charles mix who was turned into a scary Texas facility through no fault of her own. Upon her arrival at the shelter, sweet Rosie was immediately spayed, vaccinated and vetted and found to be perfectly healthy, sweet as can be and ready for her transport to a brand new life in Colorado.

Luck was on Rosie's side on the day of her arrival at the shelter. Our compassionate Texas rescuer had the pleasure of meeting Rosie as she arrived. The decision took seconds after she held Rosie close. This tiny girl snuggled into her with so much love and trust that our rescuer knew she was a perfect candidate to join Farfel's. We were contacted hours later and happily accepted Rosie into Farfel's Rescue.

At 20 lbs, Rosie is a perfect size for daytime fun, long walks and late night cuddling. At approximately 10 months old, our wonderful girl has her whole life in front of her to be a full-time best friend. Rosie will be a perfect companion for anyone who is searching for that very sweet bestie. She will be by your side to hug and love on. This sweetie-pie is a kind and loving spirit to hold close when the challenges of the world seem overwhelming.

After spending some with Rosie, her rescuer said it was obvious that this beautiful girl had been loved at some point in her life. "She'a just so darn sweet and loving. She's truly an irresistible girl who has so much love in her heart to share," our rescuer bragged about our Rosie.

Rosie may be a bit shy initially as rehoming is challenging for any dog, but with love and nurturing, she will absolutely shine. We envision Rosie with either retirees (she would be overjoyed with time spent and being at the center of a loving family) or a younger family who works at a home-based office. A gentle and fun canine friend would be great for Rosie as well, but not mandatory if her people are attentive and enjoy spending lots of time with their new fuzzy family member.

For those family members who enjoy neighborhood walks and time in the outdoors, Rosie would love nothing more than to share the experience. Poppy will love her outings, and is working on her leash skills and doing better all the time. She loves the opportunity to socialize and enjoys her time on paths and trails.

Rosie has been vetted, vaccinated and spayed to be line with Farfel's commitment to only adopting out healthy dogs that are fully vetted and fixed..and therefore won't contribute to the overpopulation crisis in the canine population.

Rosie will be arriving on transport in Boulder on Saturday 10/11//2025. Adoption applications are currently being accepted for this silly, sweet and cuddly best friend. An application can be found at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/. If interested, please fill out completely and submit.

**PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting Rosie please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com. Adoption site applications such as Petfinder and Adoptapet don't provide enough information and therefore aren't useful. Our Farfel's application is the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving puppy. We're sorry, but in most cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.
