Sheri-Moon is a fun, affectionate girl with a little wild energy — think more “Living Dead Girl” at playtime, and total cuddlebug when the lights go down. She loves being close to her people, often trying to claim her rightful spot as your personal lap dog. Though she can be a bit nervous at first, she settles in quickly once she feels the rhythm of her new home.
She knows a couple of tricks (sit and down!) and takes her treats oh-so-gently, proving that beneath her edgy name beats the heart of a gentle soul.

Established in 1999, The Shelter Connection is a 501c3 volunteer organization at the Town of North Hempstead Animal Shelter. Our mission, in partnership with the Town, is to improve the quality of life for the dogs at the shelter and increase adoptions through training and socialization.
