DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Pup Gurri!
Handsome, unique, and ready for love — that’s me! I’m Gurri, a striking Catahoula mix with beautiful markings that make me stand out in any crowd. I was rescued by K-9 Lifesavers from an overcrowded shelter in Alabama with my two siblings (Pup Mena and Pup Thumper), and now I’m hoping to find my forever family. Like many Catahoulas, I’m a smart boy in the perfect stage for training and socialization. I may be a little shy at first, but give me just a bit of time and patience, and you’ll see my sweet and friendly nature shine through. I am super sweet and get along well with other dogs. What I’d really love is to share my heart — with you.

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
