My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mara was sadly returned to our care after the passing of her beloved owner. Understandably, all the recent changes in her life have left her feeling scared and unsure, and she may come across as shy at first.

Beneath that timid exterior, though, is a gentle and sensitive soul just waiting for the right person to help her feel safe again. Mara was very scared when she first arrived, often tucking herself away. However, with time and patience Mara is beginning to blossom and show us her affectionate side. She leans into pets and will give kisses, showing us how sweet she really is.

With continued time, patience, and love, Mara is sure to blossom in a calm and caring home. She's ready for a fresh start and a forever family who will give her the security and affection she needs.
