My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I`m Kenji & I was found as a stray in Sept. 2025. I`m currently in a foster home; here is what my foster says about me:

I get along great with the other dog in her home but the cat & I are still getting use to one another. I`m not mean to the cat, I`m just very curious & find her fun! I hung out with a lot of family around Thanksgiving & did great with everyone, even the younger kids. I`m very attentive & would do wonderful with some additional training! I don`t care for being alone so kenneling is recommended along with something to chew on while I`m in the kennel. Loud noises make me nervous so I would need some help gaining confidence with those. I like getting plenty of attention & like to run outside!

Could I be the perfect fit for you?

. Promoting compassionate and appropriate treatment of animals throughout Green and Lafayette Counties.
. Realizing the need to educate the general public in areas of animals' care, especially the need for spaying and neutering of animals to prevent further overpopulation.
. Diligently assisting law enforcement and the general public in the effort to end animal abuse.
