A tenderhearted pair of nine-year-old Domestic Short Hair sisters currently living in Glenside, PA, whose quiet bond and sweet nature make them the purr-fect duo for a peaceful and loving home. Born in July 2016, these medium-sized tabby gals have shared a lifetime of sisterly snuggles, gentle play, and cozy companionship.
Avery is the more vocal of the two, often meowing softly for her morning milk or for a little attention when she’s feeling extra affectionate. She’s the outgoing sister, the first to greet you and the first to settle in your lap with a satisfied purr. Lexi, on the other hand, is more reserved and sensitive. She may take her time to feel safe in a new environment, but once she trusts you, she reveals a deeply loving side that melts hearts. Her tiny meows for milk are just as charming as her gentle, loyal spirit!
These girls love their daily routine, two cans of cat food split between them, dry food and fresh water always available, and a sun-drenched nap together to finish the day. While they’ve slowed down a bit in their senior years, they still enjoy toys with bells and the occasional spotlight chase. The sight of them curled up together, tails touching, is the kind of moment that makes a house feel like a home.
They are spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. They’ve had a couple of dental procedures, including the removal of a few back teeth, but they’re in good health and just need a calm, caring environment to continue thriving. Their current caregiver is happy to assist with vet costs and will even send them along with a supply of their favorite canned food.
While Avery and Lexi are ready to start their next chapter as a bonded pair, their third sister Cali is also looking for a new home and if there’s room in your heart (and home) for all three, they’d love nothing more than to stay together!
