My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

25-D-123

Meet Cane! At 5 and a 1/2 years old, Cane is the perfect blend of a lazy couch potato and an occasional playful companion. Cane likes slow walks where he gets to enjoy the smells of everything outdoors. When he does get an occasional burst of energy, he gallops around like a small horse for a couple minutes before he's ready for some more treats or a comfy bed to stretch out on.

Meeting new friends and embracing changes are not on Canes daily to-do list. A quiet, low activity and preferably female only environment would be best for him to feel the safest and most relaxed.

If you are interested in Cane, please place an application online and give us a call to go over additional information!

More about this shelter

Our motto is "Saving Lives, One At A Time". We were founded in 2006 and work hard to provide a second chance at adoption for homeless animals. We operate our two thrift stores to help support the Adoption Center.

We began our mission to provide care and homes for the homeless or surrendered dogs and cats in our area in 2006. By 2010 we opened our pet Adoption Center in Branson, MO.
We are a self funded non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Our website www.Bransonhumanesociety.com provides a link to our online thrift store which helps fund our Adoption Center. Our mission: To aid in the alleviation of distress and suffering of animals, and to promote their humane treatment through protection, placement, and public education.
