My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cy!

Cy is our adventurous, outdoorsy boy who’s currently soaking up life in beautiful Payson, AZ! He’s happiest exploring the Great Outdoors — chasing lizards and squirrels (don’t worry, he never catches them!) and sneaking peanuts from the squirrel feeder to enjoy while lounging in the grass.

Recently, Cy met his foster sister Ellijay (Ellie for short), and the two quickly became inseparable. They cuddle together for car rides, share naps, and love their daily walks and weekly park adventures. We would be thrilled to see this sweet duo find a forever home together, where they can enjoy plenty of space to run, play, and live life to the fullest.

True to his Doberman nature, Cy is loyal and protective, but once he knows you, he’s an affectionate and devoted friend.

Cy’s perfect home:
🐶 Good with medium to large dogs (with proper introductions)
👧 Best with children 8 and older
🐱 No cats, please

If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and a love for adventure — and maybe room for his best friend Ellie too — Cy might just be your guy! ❤️ Please email SPWHEELS1@GMAIL.COM

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

At Valley Dogs we make every effort to place the right animal in the right home. To aid in this goal, we use trained Adoption Consultants to help you select the best match for your lifestyle. You will meet with an Adoption Consultant and discuss your lifestyle, activity level, expectations, likes/dislikes, and past experiences with animals. Your consultant will then recommend the best match for your family and your lifestyle.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We do not own a kennel / shelter type facility. In most cases, we believe one of the effective and successful ways to match families and pets is to foster them in our own homes. Fostering dogs allows us to help train the dogs to have good doggie manners and allows us to learn about the dog's personality and character. Ultimately allowing us to give potential adopters complete information on the pet's behavior and how well he / she will fit with a family and lifestyle. Unfortunately, when we are not able to find the most appropriate foster home, we will on occasion utilize a private kennel on a case by case basis.
