Meet Phoenix – The Sweet, Goofy Pup with the Best Ears Around
Phoenix is a 1 year old, 42-pound mixed breed pup who’s equal parts playful, affectionate, and eager to please. He’s quickly proving himself to be a smart and adaptable boy—his foster mom says he went from seeming like he’d never lived in a house to being both housetrained and crate trained in just a week!
Phoenix loves to play, whether it’s with toys, other dogs, or his people. He enjoys car rides, running around the yard, and going for walks, but he’s also content to hang out and follow his humans from room to room. He’s good with dogs, cats, kids, men, and women—truly a friendly guy who gets along with everyone.
Like any growing puppy, Phoenix has plenty of energy and will thrive in an active home with lots of playtime and something to chew on. He’d love to have another dog to keep him company and help him burn off that playful energy. He’s still a bit clumsy and doesn’t quite realize his size, but he listens well and takes direction like a champ.
Phoenix is a super sweet, social boy who loves to learn and just wants to be near his people. He already knows sit, lay down, and shake. Phoenix can be vocal so a future home with no shared walls would be ideal. With those amazing ears and his big heart, he’s ready to make someone very happy.
His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
