What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Benny was a rescue who was originally going to be euthanized as a puppy. He is a very good boy who loves walks and hikes. very good with letting you know when he needs to go out, and is crate trained.
He is food motivated and can be easily trained. But he will also jump on tables and counters to grab food if you’re not paying attention. He loves cuddles and hanging out with you, and is also content with just playing with his stuffed animals.
Benny does have 2 fat lumps on his body, but they do not hurt him and do not seem to be getting any bigger. We were told that it could grow back even if we had them removed. He seems to have a sensitivity to poultry and beef, so he’s on a fish diet. He will act like he’s dying if you trim his nails, but he’ll cooperate reluctantly. He does baths and face trims well.
He is NOT good with other dogs, but is good with people. Kids should be gentle with him. We travel a lot and are not able to give him the attention he deserves.
