My name is Chewy!

Chewy came to us as a result of an investigation in which we were granted custody by the court. He has been through some trials but picked up on the shelter routine quickly and is a sweet boy with a desire to be loved. He gets along with select females but does not get along with any males or cats. Chewy would be best as the only male dog in a home with no kids. He is weary of men but warms up eventually.  He has a heard dog menatlity and he will chase after things that he views as a threat to his home. He will need an attentive owner that can keep him contained and work with him on this issue to keep him safe. He loves long walks or runs and is always up for adventures that end in snuggles at home.
